Tobi Nagy – Mentor Profile

Tobi Nagy has over 25 years experience in start-up & growth of new ventures, with 18 years consulting, mentoring and entrepreneurial strategy development in the areas such as resource recycling, sustainability, renewable energy and social enterprise development.

Tobi's most recent business is the co-founding of a solar company in the Pacific, called Pacific Green Power (www.pacificgreenpower.com) which aims to empower locals through the delivery of distributed solar PV systems to communities and villages in remote, rural and maritime areas.

Tobi is also a member of the CleanTech Council (www.cleantechcouncil.com.au) who source projects in clean technology, then help build and raise investment for them.  These projects include areas such as energy, biomass, water, waste etc. 

Tobi is also Managing Director of commodities trading company, Infinite Wisdom Investments P/L and an active investor in South America and the Pacific. 

With over 8 years as a course developer, sessional lecturer and tutor in entrepreneurship, with a focus on start-ups, social and global entrepreneurship, innovation and social media marketing, Tobi is a thought leader on sustainability, international business strategy, management studies & professional English.

Tobi is highly proficient in entrepreneurship pedagogy development, lean start-up strategy development, social enterprise development, deal structuring, business planning & financial modelling development.

He completed Masters of Entrepreneurship & Innovation with Honours in International Business at Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship and a Graduate Cert. in Learning and Teaching at Swinburne University.
